    The bookies Empty The bookies

Post by Guest Wed Jan 06 2010, 08:22

Now I know a few of us enjoy the odd flutter and I was wondering what others thought of the bookies toying with idea of going decimal ? Instead of the old fraction style of showing odds we will could have a new and, allegedly, easier to understand decimal system. For example 15/8 becomes 1.9/1, 6/4 becomes 1.5/1 & 2/1 becomes errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 2/1 ! Me I love the archaic fraction system but I suppose like all other businesses the bookies are looking to step into the 21st Century. They say it will make it easier for people to understand the odds and attract people to sports like horse racing. Oh yes and generate more revenue lol . . . . . . . . .
