    John Terry. Empty John Terry.

I think it was the right decision. Not that I usually give a sh*t about peoples private life but he has walked the tightrope before. He thinks he can do just as he likes. Not sure about Ferdinand though lol.

I had to vote no. These allegations are a matter for his family & not football related. For all we know he and his wife have an "open" relationship. If he should have been sacked it was over the allegations about cash-in-hand stadium tours. FFS the job is now with Wavy Lips , a man who"missed" a drugs test ! And if the rumours about why he missed the test are true it makes him even more sleezey. Hey kids it's ok for the England captain to miss a drugs test but not to have sex. Double standards & I will say, a minefield for Cappello to have to deal with . . . . . .

Well, I doubt it was an open relationship by the way she reacted Vis. Terry is a sleaze ball in my opinion and as I posted above he thinks he can do just what he likes. Its not just this mate but everything that went before also. I remember the fraca at WHL when we beat Chelski 2-1. He said something to Ledley that incensed not just Ledders but Defoe, Essien and Droga also. I leave you to make your own assumptions as to what it was about. Do we need a player like that leading England? No.

Baz I so take your point but this aint footie it's shaggin'. Before he was caught out Terry was playing fine. The world over people do it. Lets remember William Clinton eh ? I would rather have Terry and all his baggage than that that horrible, slimey, sleazey, cheating, scumball that is Rio Ferdinand. The guy ain't even match fit and now his posistion will be guarenteed. A man who aint fit leading the 3 Lions ? What are our options tho' Baz ? Sez everything we need to know about 21st Century players. Hells bells it's time to give the job to that good ole homeboy Mikey Daws . . . . ..

I agree with you there Vis. I just wonder what effect Terry still being Captain of England would have on the rest of the players. I agree about Ferdinand mate, he was the last one I would have wanted. I would have gone for Rooney to lead by example as he seems to have lost his bad boy image.
