Wolves are edging closer to completing a loan deal for Jamie O’Hara.
After failing in their bid to complete a loan for Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate earlier in the week Mick Mccarthy has gone back for his team-mate.
The midfielder has not featured in Spurs first team plans this season after recovering from a serious back injury and has been expected to make a loan move to continue his recovery, with West Ham and Queens Park Rangers also showing an interest.
Neil Warnock watched as O’Hara took part in a friendly against QPR earlier this month, while Avram Grant knows the 24-year-old from his time at Portsmouth last season.
But developments now indicate Wolves are in the driving seat with a deal expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
