Just to add my bit, ferguson had the chance to sign torres before liverpool did, but didnt because of his injury record, yeah he has been a success at liverpool but has had his weeks on the sidelines through injury all the same, its a massive sum for spurs to pay, i would worry though because if he got crocked we would be back to square one.

Hey vis shouldnt this be in the other footie clubs section, he,s a fecking liverpool player going to chelsea, get on the ball vis ! lol!

Kenny Dalglish fiercely denied that Liverpool were prepared to sell Fernando Torres. The Anfield boss also confirmed that he had money to spend at a time when reports have emerged regarding a bid for Andy Carroll.

One minute Pool are skint, next minute there flashing the cash, there just trying to squeeze the last penny from the Ruski, would love it if they left it too late and got stuck with an unhappy Torres and cant really afford to pay Ajax !!

Rumours swirling around about Fernando Torres' whereabouts (bit like the helicopter earlier) but the Mirror is reporting the Spaniard has been given permission to attend a medical at Chelsea.

Liverpool are desperate to get the deal done, so they cant afford to waste time with the medical, so eleventh hour they squeeze the last penny out of the Ruski, medicals already done and they can afford to pay Ajax.

Well thats scraping the barrel vis ! he has never realistically been a spurs target, only from comments made on here, i look at spurs transfer activity everyday and have never seen him mentioned by harry or levy, probably in their dreams.

Come on vis...condemned to the other footie section...at least taarabt played for spurs which makes it a viable subject. lol!

Lew go back to Marks original post. A desire to see us bid for Torres from a Spurs fan. Sweet FA to do with QPR . . . . . . .

Where do you get the qpr connection from vis ! Surprised

I was simply comparing the two posts... mine was about a spurs decision on getting rid of an ex player, and marks was about a player we should go in for in the transfer window.

I am not going to expand anymore on the subject, you answered what i wanted to hear in " other football news" and that was all i wanted from you.
