To sell a certain adel taarabt, well he was up to his old tricks yesterday because he wasnt seeing enough of the ball, (read the suns report on the hull vs qpr game)

Yeah spurs were right, this bloke would have been creating loads of problems for harry this season if we had kept him, any club he goes to he will cause trouble if he doesnt get his own way.

Spurs were justified in getting rid of a potential disrupter.

Moved to Other Football News section. Regardless of how the thread is worded it's about a QPR player and threads about QPR players belong in this section. Sorry guys but the Trabbant thing is nothing at all Spurs related . . . . .

Too quick for my liking baz, this has proved to be a popular spurs subject on here for many, surely thats what the forum is about , a popular thread that evokes discussion, moving an item to prove someone is on the ball is pointless imo.

Taarabt has been a controversial spurs player and still qualifies because of outrageous remarks against spurs, thats why its still a juicy subject ! but whatever. put it in its little niche !

The optimum phrase there Lew is "Has been a controversial Spurs player." We have been all over the reason's posts should be put in there correct place. This forum is no different from any other forum I belong too. The different categories are there for a reason. i.e Ease of use. You know exactly where to find a post on a particular subject. Taraabt belongs in this forum under Other Football News category. Contrary to what some believe it does matter.

lew the guy is the best player in that league but he wont do it everygame

ronaldo been scoring for fun for real madrid but not in every game and didnt they drew 1 w with some poor team last week. he cant do it everyweek

adel got 13 goals. no tap ins and most have been screamers.
defoe no goal since the pen last april and 1 goal in open play.

your telling me adel wouldnt have a goal for us if he played up front for us. he has skill pace and is strong.

crouch trys to hold the ball up but is to slow to do anything else.

and his past time at spurs and ongoing threads about him wont go away just because any thread about him is treated gestapo fashion and made to disappear like the bloke wasnt a spurs player ever.........i would ask what the fck is there to be afraid of to bung taarabt in a lesser visited category ?

I laughed when i read on here people mentioning Torres name but im not
laughing now we should go in for him if the rumours r true and we bid
nearly 40 million for Aguero whats a extra 10 million for a proven
goalscorer in the premier league Scousers have already said 50 million
would do it he can play in the champions league too if Pinaar chose us
over Terrys brothel EL NINO can too lol!

The Poster is referring to Torres joining Spurs. Therefore it's in the right forum. Nothing wrong with that.

and a taarabt thread is about an ex spurs player baz, would you move a jimmy greaves thread because he ended up at west ham ?

Or a berbatov thread because he went to man utd ?

Taarabt is no different to the above in their connection to spurs.

Yes, EX SPURS PLAYER Lew. Yes I would move a post about Greaves if he was now playing for Wet Spam as he would no longer be a Spurs Player. I've spent enough time on this mate. So think what you want.

Ok baz, up to you to cop out when questioned over a viable query, so a torres thread is allowed an airing even though i havent read any material connecting spurs in any way to the player ?

Yet a taarabt post is consigned to other football news even though the player has a spurs history and the main message of the post was to confirm spurs got it right to offload him because of his antics during the hull vs qpr game.

Its out of context baz and you and vis know it ! its only been removed because it has caused a few problems with posters on here, thats the reason and if you come out and say that then i wouldnt question it any more.

Are you trying to wind me up Lew because to be honest you are succeeding. The post refers to Torres joining Spurs "we should go in for him" We meaning us meaning Spurs. That very line alone puts it in a Spurs category. There is nothing in that line that refers to Liverpool or Chelsea it is refering to us.

40 million for Aguero whats a extra 10 million for a proven

The whole of that sentence refers to Torres joining us ffs.

Anyway baz, i have an early start in the morning, so i wont argue the toss on here because its pointless, i might start a thread about giggsy next, spurs might possibly be interested in the veteran man utd player as utd will only give him a year long contract ! jocolor lol!

Lew it was obvious that starting yet another Trabbant thread was to get people biting. Fair play but he is an employee of QPR FC.He won't be coming back to Spurs in this transfer window so it's a thread about a QPR player, not a player who may be linked with SPURS. The Torres thread is a thread about why we, SPURS not QPR, should have looked at him and possibly bid for him. Spurs related. Trabbant is QPR. I moved the thread about his desire to move to Utd. Maybe you feel that belongs in Spurs chat as well ? Perhaps we should allow threads about it but in all honesty I think many posters are bored to tears with the whole Trabbant saga and any future discussion about him belongs in this section as he is a QPR player . . . . .

If you think he is a viable target for Spurs Lew I would imagine it would make an intresting thread and I would agree that should we as Spurs fans be intrested in the pros & cons of him becoming a Spurs player that indeed it would belong in the Spurs Chat section . . . . .

Baz if you are getting wound up then thats your problem not mine ! as far as i know i am trying to discuss this problem of moving threads around amiably..... so if i start a thread saying " should we buy taarabt back" would that then qualify for the main chat forum.? or would it once again end up in "other football category"

Well thats all i wanted to hear vis ! its simple isnt it ! its been moved not because it isnt a spurs subject but because it looks like it was intended to make people bite..........

Thats fine, and yes it is a boring subject when he is mentioned as being one who got away.

As for torres being a target for spurs, its totally unrealistic because for one he will be way above our wage structure ! (which is a massive bug bear in trying to sign top players) also the sum quoted bidded by chelsea is way above what levy would sanction.

The Torres thread was one that had Spurs fans discussing a player they would to see pursued. The Trabbant one was another in the long line of discussions about a QPR player. And that Lew was why I moved it. A thread about a QPR player, a player who has been with them for sometime now . . . . ..

Each thread stands on it's merits Lew and will be judged by that criteria. If we as Mods feel a thread does not warrant being in a certain forum then we will move it. You may not like it but it's a fact. That's why good forums are moderated.

Lew I have made a decision to move any new Trabbant threads to this section. It's time for fans to realise he is now a QPR player therefore making him ex-Spurs. I moved a thread by Lobo yesterday and one from you today. Consistency at work. I made this decision and I stand by it . . . . . .
