    John Terry Empty John Terry

If meeja rumours are to be believed it seems that Cappello (AKA SuperMario) is contemplating giving the captains armband back to Joust-A-Lot Johnny Terry. Why FFS ? He sacked him because of certain, unproven it must be said, allegations and made a decision he should as a man & manager stick to. I never agreed with the sacking (I also never agreed with Wavy Lips replacing him). A persons private life is just that, private. Even when strewn across the meeja it was Terry's business and was not football related. I don't admire him as a person but that has nothing to do with his proffession. The problem, to me, is that if Cappello now back-tracks he will lose any last vestige of respect he has left from fans, players & meeja. Cappello has turned the national team into a slip-shod, rag tag & bobtail affair. When English people lose intrest in their national team it is a sorry day. This could also have an effect should the FA decide that they too have lost faith in him and decide a big pay-off is preferable to a faltering England side. When Cappello was appointed he was lauded as the man to get England winning at tournaments. Failed. To bring pride back to England's national team. Failed. And to install discipline into players who represent the country. Failed. All told sh*t loads of money for failing. Where do I apply to get a job like this ? The only other people to get big wedge's of cash for such abject failure are the bankers . . . . . . .

Spot on Vis have a rep fella.I care not what Terry and the other pampered bunch do in their spare time but Cappello is a laughing stock IMO. He made a decision to remove Terry as Captain. It was a decision that wasn't taken lightly I should imagine. He should stick by that decision. If Cappello removed Terry because of his conduct outside the game then what has changed? He should stick to it through hell or high water. I have a modicum of sympathy for Ferdinand. He was told he would be the England Captain and rightly he is p*ssed off at the decision to re-instate Terry. Cappello is a joke, Sir Alf must be turning in his grave. I would love to see an England manager come in and bring youth into the England set up. Look at countries like Spain, Brazil and Argentina who have no fears about bringing good young players into their National teams. Seem like the only requisite to play for England is you must be over 25 at least.

LOL for once I too feel sorry for the drugs test avoider that is Wavy Lips! ! ! Now Spurs will always come first for me but it's a sad day when I have no intrest in England as an avowed Englishman, but that is what the Cappello reign has done to me. Even with people like McClaren I could feel disapointment but with SuperMario & his spoilt brats, I just don't care anymore . . . . . . . . . . .

I feel the same Vis and as Englishman not caring about their National team that is a very sorry state of affairs.
