Hey ho the ref was against us today. Of late they have been with us. How many hand-balls by Stoke in the box ? Adabayour was not offside, the Stoke number 12 was playing him on. The most amusing moment was Stoke fans chanting cheat at us. LOL Stoke rewatch the game and have a lol ole think about things . . . .

Swings and roundabouts Vis - I can think of at least one handball that went in your favour this season - as for the sending off I thought it was a poor decision by Foy, but no worse than Cahill getting his marching orders last week - and the Modric penalty ?

These setbacks happen - as Arry rightly said poor first half and much better second

Yep, Vis ....I'm watching the post match pundits and they agree with everything there in your post, should've been a goal for Ade , poor decision by the lino ...

Harry not happy with the decisions in the interview but pleased with our team's response as I am ...

Just have to put this one to bed and look forward to Sunderland at home and get another winning run going .....coys!!

From the referees viewpoint I dont think Foy could have not given the Modric penalty Vis, looking at it from side on like Peter Reid I thought it was a soft one with a slight contact producing a huge tumble - as Reid says this is not a bloke who finds it difficult to stay upright when he wants to

The incident of the Ade offside goal was clearly an error but to be fair to Foy it was theblino who called it not the ref

    Anyway where is Lought

I await his review of the damage Crouch caused

The missed Shawcross handball was probably the most significant as he would have been red carded - as you well know thigh Vis referees sometimes do miss handballs

I have no doubt we would see the VdV handball at the Lane differently but how about Walker's wrapping his arms around the ball at Craven Cottage ?

Apparently , Kaboul's first yellow was down to the fourth official, who spotted our center half making a gesture towards, Foy with his hands, that he needs glasses..

Long way to go, Nic but I'm not disheartened by today's result as I felt the players, although individually didn't have their best games, they did put so much effort into it....

We lost the game, but we lost like a team that I believe will be there or thereabouts going into the last week of the season .

It's all interesting and by Christmas, it could all squeeze up at the top if the Chavs and your Goon squad shake up Citeh in their next two games ....

The Defining factor in the campaign will be who gets the most points from 38 games

Admittedly Arry's master plan by getting popped out of the Carling Cup by Stoke was a slightly off plot, as was the recent f*ck up against PAOK. He is man of huge subtlety and shrewdness however

Indeed it may be the weak effort in the first half today was another piece of the Arry jigsaw

Alternatively as as Lought might say he really ain't got much more than a ready quip

Nic as I said in my original post match post I realise that some ref's have given us "the rub of the green" this season so will just say Foy had a poor game today. Bit like the Ref who was in charge of Us V Bolton last week. Let's hope officialdom show consistency and demote Foy the same as the did the Bolto Ref ? Anyways onwards & upwards to the next 10 game winning streak begining against SunLun next week . . . . .

From the YOU'LL WIN NOTHING WITH YIDS BLOG.

Stoke City 2 Tottenham 1: Poor officiating and cheating opposition ends Tottenham's unbeaten run

It may not have been a
particularly good performance from Tottenham, but the reason we came
away empty handed is down to cheating opposition and incompetent
    officiating.

    Without resorting to
cliches or trotting out inaccurate statements about Stoke's home form
it's difficult to play on a wet pitch against a team with a definite
agenda of cheating. We didn't get close to playing our usual passing
game for most of the first half and went in two-nil down at half-time
from two scrappy goals, both by former Tottenham man Matthew
Etherington. William Gallas was outmuscled for the first and the second
was a shot into the ground that looped over Brad Friedel.

    There was one side
playing football and another doing something else entirely. Stoke have a
player that keeps a towel up his shirt to wipe the ball down and have
made the pitch so small that it's impossible to get any width. Those
things are within the rules of the game, but what isn't is the constant
    pushing and pulling.

We got a penalty for a
foul on Luka Modric (the Stoke fans went on to boo him for the rest of
the game) and Emmanuel Adebayor scored it. It was as if the referee
decided that was our lot and we got nothing when Ryan Shawcross dragged
Younes Kaboul to the floor and Dean Whitehead stopped Defoe's shot with
    both arms.

Worst of all in the 74th
minute Gallas was pulled down and Shawcross stopped the follow-up on
the line with his arm. Ignoring those two indisputable penalty calls the
referee ruled Adebayor's follow up goal offside when it was actually
    on.

Kaboul was booked for complaining about the penalty he was denied and sent off for fouling an offside player.

    What a joke.

Last week Attwell made one major error and perhaps he missed a penalty when Benny was bought down ....

Today, Foy along with his incompetent Linesman were making errors after errors throughout the game ....

    It's different ....
