    How f*cking disgusting.

    1) John Terry couldn't even be bothered to attend.

    2) Normally cases like this are heard 4 to 6 weeks after incident.

    3) The Magistrate then says there's so many witnesses in this particular case. He then says that he received a letter from a Chelsea chief executive stating that there "was great difficulty attached to some witnesses attending trial so early"/

    4) The chief magistrate then goes through the fixture list and picks a date conveniant to John Terry.

    Is this sh*t for real?

A court will always set a date when it is certain that all the witnesses as well as counsel are available.

If you want to ensure the availability of large numbers of professional footballers choose the Summer break

Case that I was involved with this week in Edinburgh was rescheduled for October 2013

Am I the only one puzzled why the FA have decided today to remove the captain's arm band from Terry ?

Either take the captaincy away when he was first charged " in the best interests of England etc" - or let him keep it and apply "the innocent until proven guilty" approach

And finally the day approaches July 9th - everyone back from Barbados, witnesses available, magistrate with pen poised

And will Chelsea sack JT if he is convicted ?

Have to as far as I can see - no more England, perhaps no more professional football

I seem to recall the suggestion that it would be swept under the carpet

    Hasn't happened

As in Arry's case he is being prosecuted on the basis that their is a >50% of success

He should be found guilty. The TV evidence backs up the allegation that he was racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.

There is a video on youtube that clearly shows terry saying "You Blind cnut ", " not you Black cnut", unless there was something else said, i think this is what the whole case is based on, that one small piece of evidence , yet it clearly shows him saying blind, but can easily be mistaken for black , I think Terry will walk .

Lip-reader (testifying allegedly on behalf of the Defendant) gives her opinion on what Terry said:

"f*ck off. (then obstructions), yeah (obstruction) you f*cking black cnut (pause), you f*cking nobhead."

    £2500 Max oh I don't know

    Could be;
His contract at Chelsea football club, any slight chance of playing for England, a few £100k in personal sponsorship, fees and image rights

And then of course there is compensation and costs

so anton didnt know what was being said untill hes girlfriend showed him clips on youtube about what it meant.

and this has made the courts.
    what a load of rubbish.
just because he might of used the word black.
so its okay to call somone a white c.........
and even if terry is a raceist he only gets a low fine.
also why didnt chelsea black players have a go at terry.
