    Murray Through. Empty Murray Through.

What a match. He got through but god was it hard work. Lost the first set too easily in my opinion as he just couldn't seem to work his opponents game out. Got the measure of him in the second set but made hard work of the rest of the match. His opponent was no mug, he was tenth in the World last year so it was a measure of how hard Murray was going to have to work to beat Wawrinka. Murray was let down by his poor first serves. If he wants to go any further he has to sort that out. The match see sawed back and forth between the two players from the 3rd set onwards but I believe it was only Murray's general fitness and that he was some ten years yonger than his opponent that got him through. Having said all that it was generally regarded as the best match of the tournament so far. It also made history as the first Wimbledon match to be played under floodlights.
    Final scores were 2-6 6-3 6-3 5-7 6-3 Murray.

Watched the last set myself after the footy & with England's embarrassing loss i was hoping to feel better by watching Murry going out. But the git pulled it out of the fire didn't he. Just not my day yesterday lol.

He was very critical of playing under the roof though & the difference in the press conference wasn't he.
