    im hearing we are after carrol.
    would love him at spurs. did u see him when he came on aganst chelsea. there defence was scared of him

    terry just couldnt handle him
    it will make a change having a striker thats strong.
    plus is good in the air.

    only bad news is that we might have to let caulker or dawson go the other way

    I think Carrol has a lot of potential Mark.
    He's still young and has never been given a chance at l'pool by either manager. He had a reasonable Euro's and we were prepared to go to 30 mil last season but the geordies turned us down but sold to L'Pool for 35mil.

    We are not going to get any of the foreign strikers that we keep getting linked with so Carroll to me would be a good alternative and could turn out to be just what we are looking for.

    However I know the scousers would like Caulker but letting him go, in my opinion, would be a big mistake as he has a great future. If we had to let Dawson go the other way then I wouldn't be happy about it but it is the better option.

    A straight swop for Dawson wouldn't be a bad deal or outright for 15 mil would be better.

    We desparetly need a striker fast not in the January window, we could be to far away from the top 4 by then so if i's possible I say get Carroll in.

    he can shoot r u taking the P*ss the guy is shocking King marked him out of game last season at Anfield i remember at the euros when in training the local kids where laughing at him cause he was so shite. Sorry Mikey just cant see it u have to think why he hasnt been given a chance at Liverpool. He so slow too not good movement. But i still think we will get him as a panic buy on deadline day where is Rasiak when u need him lol!

    why hasnt santos been given a chance at spurs yet was the best youngster at the last world cup then was a star at the olympics for mexico.

    just because somone cant get on the pitch dont mean they are sh*t

    stephen pinnar just played for everton and beat them again. yet not deemed good enough for spurs but hes everton always take points of man u unlike our prim spise boys

    Chamakh? Are you having a bubble Nic? There is no way he will be arriving anywhere near Spurs. You can count on that. I'd rather keep what we've got.

    I think you are wrong Mark. He was excellent at Newcastle and showed that he can shoot is a great header of the ball and is quite skilfull for a big guy.

    When he played regularly as he did at Newcastle he scored some great goals. He never got a regular chance at L'Pool and I believe the little and large with Defoe would work really well.

    Having said all that I think he will go back to Newcastle,they want him back and he says he's only leaving the scousers to go back to Newcastle.

    Simply responding to the claim by Lought that the fact a player is not getting any first team starts at another club that he is not very good.

    Seems to me Dos Santos, Chamakh and Ade all fall into that discarded category

    Unfortunately for Ade not good enough, not remotely good enough in Mr Mancini's eyes. Even with Aguerro sidelined it does not seem the Citeh efforts to unload the awkward Togolese have skipped a beat.

    Sorry Mikey but we will never agree lol just one of those things he would never play with Defoe if we got him we play with 1 up top now. And yes he played well for Newcastle for half a season when Newcastle was new to prem league people didnt know how to play against him thats when also Newcastle wasnt as good as they are now. I dont think hes a good enough player for a top side yes he will do well in Europe and for England cause they dont like playing against big guys Crouch is the same look at his goals for England.

    I don't really care about City that's there loss. I don't think it had anything to do with Ade's form more to do with his attitude.

    wanting plyers like carroll is why some fans are happy with 4th every season and not taking the club forward, we battling for 4th again for the next 20yrs if we get higher great but you need be realistic with our wage structure.
