    Am i glad we didnt get this mercenary b*stard.

    We chased him for months last year and wouldnt come because we wernt in the Champs League etc etc, so now he was talking to the Magpies and now his about to sign for QPR (relegation candidates) because they have offered him more money.

    I'm sure we were in for him when Harry was with us and the transfer fee was 20 million , with us offering something a little below that?

    Well, with an 8 million transfer fee in this window and the amount we're currently paying a Togolese international, I think we could've done something for a French international forward.
    We do need a striker too.
