    Another youngster loan confirmed . . . .

Alex Pritchard & Davide Petrucci sign Peterborough loan deals

Peterborough United have signed Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard on loan until the end of the season and extended Davide Petrucci's spell from Manchester United.

Winger Pritchard, 19, came through the West Ham academy but has yet to make a senior appearance for Spurs.

He was included in the squad to face PAOK in the Europa League in 2011.

Midfielder Petrucci, 19, has played twice since joining Posh for a month's spell earlier in January.

Pritchard attracted the attention of Posh boss Darren Ferguson earlier this month when he scored four goals in 20 minutes during an 8-1 win for Spurs in a youth game against Peterborough.

ITK is hinting at an existing or ex-Chelski striker (the ITK is from a relation who follows Chelski at a very close level so is JUST a rumour that is seeping his way) . . . . . . .

    1934:
    QPR LATEST
Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp hopes to sign Tottenham Hotspur duo Jermaine Jenas and Andros Townsend.

"Townsend has been unlucky because he's got both Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon in front of him. He's strong, quick, brave and he scores. I think both he and JJ would be good players for us."

    SPURS LATEST

From South American football writer Tim Vickery: "Internacional director of football Marcelo Medeiros has told Globo Esporte that Leandro Damiao will not be joining Tottenham today. ""The numbers were below our expectations," he said, adding that the Tottenham bid was susbstantially lower than the £20million reported in the English media.

"Approaching 'Levy Time' on transfer deadline day. Maybe we've all had Diame and Damiao mixed up all along."

DONE DEAL - Ryan Mason - Tottenham to Lorient

Bit of movement at White Hart Lane, as Spurs youngster Ryan Mason has joined French Ligue One club Lorient on loan until the end of the season. Not Leyton Orient - Lorient.

DONE DEAL - Simon Dawkins - Tottenham to Aston Villa

Here's that young lad from the MLS - it turns out Aston Villa have signed Simon Dawkins from Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.

Dawkins had been impressing on loan at San Jose Earthquakes.

QPR could yet bring in Peter Odemwingie, Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley. And Andros Townsend.

    3 Spurs players at once? Odd indeed . . . . .

"Simon Dawkins is a good player. He trained with Spurs last year and they really liked him. He was there as a youngster before suffering with injury problems and then going back. They got the boy over to America and he did well over there. Will he keep Aston Villa up? Not necessarily."
