Do you agree?

I read an article saying about sacking Les Ferdinand. The writer want's to know what the hell we pay him for. He has been coaching the strikers since 2008. In that time we have had the most sorry bunch of goal shy wasters I can remember at the club. They have played as badly as the guy who signed for us in the nineties. Les Ferdinand 39 goals for the club in 149 games. Some strikers arrived at our club with a great reputation, none left with it. Bent, Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe and Adebayor have all been at the club during his tenure ; benefiting from the molten bronze droplets of soccer wisdom he has been bestowing upon them. In that time not a single player has scored twenty goals in a season. Some people are saying we would be better off without AVB, I am certainly not one of them. Ferdinand Though!, how has he lasted this long?.

i said this ages ago. sir les. the guy that had 3 or was it 4 one on ones in the cup final and missed every single one.

he should have left with harry. sir less was know for hes heading abiltys yet when was the last time our strikers scored with there head

Surely top strikers don't need coaching since most of what they do is instinctive. Could anybody have coached what the likes of Greaves,Law Linekar or Owen had?

thing is would liniker or greaves get in this spurs team. hardly any managers have any poachers instinctive strikers who just goal hang anymore.


i would have them in my team as i rather a striker was in the box all the time then going on the wings looking for the ball

It can only be because he is a Sir Les, he certainly has nothing else to offer. I agree Seebee, how the hell can you coach a striker, come to that I always wondered how you can coach a keeper, you can only tell him stop the bl--dy ball going in the net, it all seems a bit of a waste of money to me.
