Luke Shaw, Plays Left back for Southampton, only 17 years old, described as the next Gareth Bale, highly rated player but would probably cost between £10-15m but a great asset! Southampton have a habbit of producing top quality players!
Benteke fried chicken! - I can see Spurs putting in a cheeky bid for this strong attacking forward, looked decent against Man Utd last night and could of scored! Spurs could probably nick him for £10m and would replace Adeabayor nicely! But will face stiff comepition from many other prem clubs!
Loic Remy - Even if we got Benteke i would still go for Remy as he has a release clause when QPR get relegated which is only between £4-8m, cheap as chips grab him to, has a quality strike and always gives 100%! But i have a feeling QPR will play hard to get and other prem teams will be in for him!
Alex Song - Recently i said i would rather prefer Sandro, but although Song is strong like Sandro and plays in a similar roll as him, Song has that added flair which Sandro doesnt. Spurs currently have plenty of hardworking central midfielders on their books, but none with as much quality as the former Arsenal enforcer, and furthermore, Scott Parker and Tom Huddlestone are rumoured to be departing from White Hart Lane in the summer. Song has it all; height, strength, power, tenacity and ability on the ball, and can even fill in as an emergency centre-back when required. There are certainly other areas of the Spurs roster that need addressing first, but bringing in the Cameroon international for just £15million – the fee Barca paid for him a year ago – would be considered as a bit of a transfer coup. So i take back what i said about preferring Sandro, having both Sandro & Song would bolster the Spurs squad and make us real Champions League & Prem contenders.
Alexis Sanchez - Alexis Sanchez has raised his game following a rather poor first three quarters of the season, but despite racking up four goals and eight assists in La Liga, many at the Nou Camp doubt the 24-year-old’s credentials. But just because he isn’t good enough for the Catalans does not mean the Chilean winger would not be a fantastic addition at White Hart Lane, with the Lilywhites reportedly very interested in Sanchez’s transfer situation. While Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon have spent time on the sidelines at various stages this year, Spurs have looked a different team, for the worse, and Andre Villas-Boas needs some more adequate cover to fill in, with Clint Dempsey and Gylfi Sigurdsson being far too slow. Sanchez is of a far more similar mould to Tottenham’s pacey wingers, and furthermore, has an end product to his game that would make him a valuable asset in the Premier League. The only stumbling block would be the transfer fee, Barca would want between £18-25m for his purchase!
If we purchased the other players, thats a left back, Defensive Midfielder, and 2 to 3 Strikers, would cost around 50-60m for all of those, we would be even stronger than the past 3 Seasons.
