    Vlad Chiriches?

Post by BazSpur on Wed Jul 31 2013, 06:36

Reports from Romania tonight are saying we have signed Vlad Chiriches who can play anywhere along the back line. He looks the Dogs.

    Looks very similar to Vertonghen.
Only problem is I saw a report the other day in which the Steaua manager rollicked his players for drinking, clubbing, poor eating habits and a general lack of fitness and devotion to training. Lets hope he wasn't a part of that culture should we sign him . . . .

Just seen the Caulker rumour meself Dave . . . .

Steven Caulker poised to join Cardiff City from Tottenham

Steven Caulker is close to agreeing a move from Tottenham to Cardiff City.

BBC Wales understands the clubs have agreed a fee in excess of £8m for the England defender, and that he is undergoing a medical in Cardiff.

Caulker, 21, spent a season on loan with Swansea City in 2011-12, playing 26 times as the Swans survived their first season in the Premier League.

Manager Malky Mackay is known to be keen on strengthening the Bluebirds defence for their Premier League debut.

If the deal goes through, Caulker would be Mackay's fourth signing of the summer after he steered the club to the Championship title last season. It would also be a club record transfer fee for Cardiff.

The previous record was set when striker Andreas Cornelius moved from FC Copenhagen for £7.5m on 1 July.

His arrival was followed by the signings of Derby County defender John Brayford and Brentford goalkeeper Simon Moore.

Cardiff are still in negotiations with Toulouse over the potential transfer of midfielder Etienne Capoue after earlier being rebuffed by Thomas Ince, who chose to stay with Blackpool rather than move to the Welsh capital.

Tottenham defender Steven Caulker's move to Cardiff City is nearly completed as Caulker is now undergoing a medical with the Welsh club.

Caulker, 21, has made one appearance for England and scored on his debut against Sweden in November.

Vlad Chiriches agent states that the players looks to be on his way to Spurs for £7 million. I will be glad when it is September all this is Bale going or staying, is a certain player joining us or not. One thing I am not happy with is I struggle to keep up with the game now, I have not got a clue if the players we sign are good, very good or great, and I can't even pronounce their bl--dy names, why can't we sign a player called Smith, Jones or McKay, oh those were the days, come on Bobby, come on Dave, now we have to have a phrase book when chanting their names.

Sorry Baz and Max, it's an age thing. Erase my post mate re Vlad Chiriches. I have just seen this video and did not see it when you posted it Baz so with the help of Max it's on the board twice. However I would just like to say Vlad looks the Bees knees, that overhead kick to score one of his goals, brilliant, let's hope he can produce that kind of performance for us.

He looks a very exciting player, quick, fearless very confident and could turn out to be the best buy of the lot. A perfect box to box player I hope he plays at the weekend.

Have to agree with everything you have said Mikey. People are saying we will not finish in the top four above the Arsenal, but I can't see why not. Once this team gels I am sure that we will not make the mistake we made last season, I did not think it was a case of them winning the 4th spot more us throwing it away. I just can't wait to see these players settled, very excited about our future.

He looks good. albeit on YouTube. Didn't the Bubble Blowers sign Marco Boogers on the evidence of a video lol? Good cover me thinks. Maybe, in time, even a good 1st choice. If Rose loses his his a way a touch and Walker continues to go backwards we could play 4 good center-halfs as a completete unit. LOL my 3 at the back dreams are coming true. Come home Glenda I miss you and your revolutionary defensive master plan . . . . . .

    Lloris
    Vertonghen Dawson Chiriches Kaboul
    Midfield
    Striker(s)

    Nice . . . . . .

Thinking about 4 C/H's across the back line we would only need a holding midfielder and the rest could be attack. Hmmmm gets me thinking . . . . .

    Lloris (loorolls lol?)
    Vertonghen Dawson Chiriches Kaboul (4)
Holding- Sandro or Capoue or Paulinho (1)
Out wide - Eriksen or Chadli or Lennon or Townsend or Lamela(2)
"Hole" - Lamela (LlamaLlama lol) or Holtby or Siggy or Defoe or Jenas-Dembele or Paulinho (2)
Front - Soldado or Defoe or Adabadbigtoe (1)

And I know I've missed some obvious choices and players that could slot in else where.
    Nice . . . . . . .
