    If Bale goes to RM and Spurs take the money plus Tia Maria and Cointreau. Would this be such a bad line up?

    I think that team could do well and take away the pain of losing Bale. I would like to see us add another top Striker. Maybe add one of the following. Ba, Cisse, Damio, Lukaku, Michu.

    But how do you think that team would do with out Bale?

    I'm not interested in the players you would like to get in as most of them would be unavailable to us anyway. It's just that this deal with RM looks as if it could be a possibility and the players mentioned are top players and I think would fit in nicely.

    somehow i dont think it will happpen levy find away out.

    looks like we going have another modric saga player who wants go but dont go.

    ps . both clubs are afraid of a future pool / spurs.without their talismen. Bale and Suarez have the ability to convert defeats into draws and draws into wins,Sad

    He be gone by end of week. Good luck to him an all. We always lose out when we get a great player. It will always happen at spurs.not enough real ambition, only in our minds not in the clubs dictionary I'm afraid. Those days are long gone

    And yet, it is Sky Sports understands and Bale wants to talk to Real and no-one and I mean no-one has been on the google box to confirm it.

    Mikey, I did say that this could be a blessing in disguise should Bale go to Real and we get cash plus the two players mentioned, and yes your line up looks very strong, strong enough to get us into the Champions League. However I think this saga has become a joke now, Levy promised Bale a move should Real offer silly money and if £80 million plus isn't silly money what is, Levy should not have made any promises. Now in the press today they say Bales mum and dad had a meeting with Levy to offer their support for their sons move, what is the game coming to when players have their mum and dad sit in on meetings. Could you imagine Dave McKay or Greaves having their parents go along to a meeting with the club chairman?. I wonder what Alan Sugar would have said to them, or Gareth come to that, the air would have been blue.

    reports that Daniel Levy is ready to concede defeat in his attempts to keep Gareth Bale at White Hart Lane and will accept Real Madrid’s offer of £85 million for the young Welsh winger.

    However, the wheeling dealing Tottenham chairman is likely to structure the best possible deal for his man, and according to the aforementioned daily will also ask for a player in addition to the fees being paid. That player is likely to be either Argentine winger Angel di Maria, who could come in as a like for like replacement, or Fabio Coentrao, a left-back, which has been a problem position for Spurs over the last 12 months.

    Additionally, Levy is also going to insist on a large amount of the transfer fee to be paid upfront so that he can reinvest the funds into his squad.

    Interestingly, Spurs have already brought in a young winger in Belgian Nacer Chadli, and have splashed 24 million pounds in the market already. With another 26.5 million pounds heading the way of Valencia for the purchase of Roberto Soldado, the sale of Bale will actually help the club balance their books.

    levy businessman first ..................... think fans would understand if we sold and got 2 decent players................... can we get 4 with the new signings yes if they gel ..............

    We wouldn't have got 5th without him though Dave. His goals were special.

    wrong. we would of scored more goals if bale played left wing because he would of created more chances for other players.

    bale has hes best season ever and we finnish 5th.
    yet lets be honest. we played averge last season because bale was allowed to do what he want.

    we scored more goals the season before.
    and the season we got top 4 we scored even more with bale left wing bentley right wing. modric hudd in the middle. kaboule right wing. and either pav or crouch up front. and kranker and defoe as inpact players

    Well Lought you'll be pleased when Bale's gone as he was obviously holding us back.

    And I can imagine us getting into top four if we bring back your favourites Bentley (can't give him away), Pav (faded into oblivion) and Crouch who can't get in the stoke side.

    I can hear the stick Soldado is going to get already.

    He'll quickly become Loughts fall guy if he has a little barren spell Mikey. By the way you forgot to add Taraabt to your list.

    I think you'll find Bentley is now a free agent and still can't get a game. £16M well spent there then.

    crouch i was never a fan.

    fact. when we got top 4. lennon was injurid wp was also crooked so we had to play modric and hudd in the middle.
    kaboul right back bentley right wing. bale left. either pav or crouch up front.
    crouhc for the away games. pav defoe for the home games.

    remember pav cam back into the team in january and scored 8 prem goals.
    then the next season we get vdv and dont get top 4
    last season with bale verts and a better team we still f*ck it up.

    its a team game and the season we got champions league we had a team.
    last season it was just pass to bale. thats why our strikers stopped scoring and we won so many games 1 0 aganst weaker teams
