the result dont matter with the make shift team we had out.

livermoor and fryers as center backs aganst falco lol
    what a miss match.

we was pretty poor all game.

    plus points.
towsend when he came on. he did more in 20 mins then lennon has in the last 10 games.

also harry kane. he has a nice touch and a bit of vison about him.

i have not been inpressed with him before but he did well today.

hudd came on with 15 mins to go and done okay and got us passing the ball.

im hearing verts daws both injurid
kaboul not ready yet. so i dont know why we let caulker go

I watched the first half and we were poor but as you say it was a patched up team and they did play their 1st team. I also thought if they knew we had injuries in defence why sell Caulker?

Apparently Verts is out for a few weeks, Dawson is unlikely to start the first game and Kaboul's injury is still long term and not sure when he will play again. So letting Caulker go was a big mistake.

The other point is can someone tell me why we haven't played Paulinio or Sandro yet?  We have just one game left until the first match of the prem so why are they not playing.

Maybe Paulinio is still in Brazil, if so why? and is Sandro's injury still bad?

All these things worry me we will start the season with a makeshift  team and lose silly points from the start.

I agree Lennon's form has been off for some time. He didn't have a good season last year and recently his body language looks all wrong.

Even one of the commentators said yesterday that it's been dissapointing that he hasn't really progressed.

I'm not sure Townsend is the answer he looks to greedy and goes for glory rather than pass. We already have one of those in Defoe.

Thought we were dire and even allowing for a makeshift team thought we should have done better. Shows we still have a lack of options in terms of players and I agree, selling Caulker was a big mistake. Even Lloris looked uncomfortable and should have saved 2 goals and at one point looked thouroughly fed up with the defending in front of him.

it was utter dire 38mins not chance / or 1 shot created .

the movement / pressing was non existent.

defoe limps off yet another injury.

well cant depend on our backups if thats to go on.

sandro said hes building is confidence so wont see best of him least 2 months in.

we need a left back , center back , minimum.

    before window closes.

ps. what is it with us and getting beat by 4-0 margins.

we have 4 / 5 drubbings ever season who ever the manager.

We also need another striker. Even if Defoes injury is only slight, although it is hamstring they say, he looks like moving to QPR  anyway.
If Solado gets injured Kane is not going to trouble many teams.

I fear we will do it all late again. Bale 2 days before the window  closes all that money and nowhere to go with it.

We have a pretty good fixture list for the start of the season if we drop silly points in the beginning then it will effect morale early on.

Don't wait until we get the Bale money in, buy now.

Sandro & Pauliniho both training but not used yet due to Confederations Cup. Expect both to play against Valencia as well as Soldado . . . .

Chichires should be joining us after Staue's first CL round apparently and that will give us another CB. That's what I have read anyway, the deal isn't dead.
