Makes sense, his in London with Brazil olympic team with Sandro and as we have seen he's a pretty forceful character, if anyone could persuade him, he can.

could have sworn I saw Leandro and Sandro, both playing last night, f**k they are fast, zipping into the crowd to cheer on the team and then back down on the pitch to play, now thats fitness.

We have been linked with him for the past couple of seasons. I hope we get him this time as he looks a bit tasty on what I have seen.

The problem is if he is that good then it's more than likely that he will go to one of the top Spanish or Italian clubs.

    We wait in hope.

I think Real are also looking at him Mikey. Hopefully Sandro will persuade the player to move to Spurs.

Yep, missed out again. Levy haggling on price once more. He's so mean, if he found a packet of corn plasters he'd go out and buy a pair of tight shoes. This will come back and bite us now.

Lets face it, Manure, Citeh, Cheatski and the a*se are not as good as last season and we still limped in 4th despite throwing away a 13 point lead over our nearest and dearest. I really like the look of Holtby and we will only have the Brom game before Ade back. Like Lought says, all paper talk with Leandro, no one lets their best player leave in the middle of a season or where Brazil is concerned further into the season then we are,
I think we will go in with a proper offer in the summer after we secure Champs League footy and all that extra dosh.

they needed a defensive midfeilder and didnt get one.

i dont give a sh*t about their failings in the market,it doesnt make me feel better, cos we needed a top striker to keep us going and yet again we fail to get one in. sold short once again. tell me how a*se failed in the transfer window if they dont overtake us, then i will be happy, but lets see.

Makes you wonder if we were being taken for a ride over Damiao. After all, how long have we been strung along by the tantalizing thought he may be coming to us. 3 seasons now isn't it and talk we may be going back in for him in the summer.

if we got a top striker 2 season ago we could of had 3rd last season.
even now all the other top teams dont seem to be playing that well.

if anything happens to parker then we are in trouble seeing as sandro out for the season.

exactly, why cant spurs have the foresight to see what we need and when we need it. i am of the opinion now that we will always be the "nearly" team while certain people are in charge.im sure one day we will field a whole team of midfielders weve got so many.always fixated with buying midfielders.

It suits levy more to have a "nearly team " he wants the new stadium and then sell on, he is about money not Spurs !!

thing is max, being "nearly there" wont keep players like bale at our club, and its heartbreaking to see us keep getting these gems but having to let them go because we cant fulfill their ambitions where other teams can, if 4th place eludes us this season because of lack of goals in games we might have won, the blame will lay at one mans door. and if bale asks to go i for one wont slate him because he has given us a lot of commitment and if we cant back him up then he deserves better. lought will have us beleive hes not all that but hes bloody priceless imo and got us out of right fixes in the past, irreplaceable but does levy understand that.

It's a catch 22 situation because we cannot compete with the top clubs without a bigger stadium or new blood. As a comparison Arsenal make more than £2m than us from every home game because of larger capacity. But we need players and if we break the bank to buy/pay wages then we don't get the new stadium. It's easy to criticise Levy, and believe me I do enough of that, but I can see that we haven't got a bottomless pit to fund everything.

What a lot of people forget is we seem to make a lot on sales most seasons so there is money to spend but Levy doesn't want to spend it.

We must have brought in over 50mil in the summer. We got over 40 mil for Modric and VDV, 33 for Modric and 8 for VDV plus about another 10 for Bassong and others.

What did we spend 6 for Sigurdson and about 8 for Dempsey and 12 for Dembele. That makes a surplus of about 25 to 30 mil. Now that would buy a very nice striker.

From what I'm hearing, not Leandro, he thanks us for our interest, but wants to stay at Internacional for as long as possible, which sounds like he hasn't got it mentally to play in another country and is afraid to try, do we want a player like that, totally different from the beast that is Sandro!
