I see the papers have said that Spurs have put a price of £6.5 mil for Defoe. I think that's a fair sum for his age 31.

I hope that means they are going to buy a striker in January?

You know what Lought I know you don't rate Defoe and I admit he's not been that good in the last couple of seasons but on the radio yesterday they were discussing him and they said he is the 14th highest goal scorer ever in the premier since it was formed. That means the're a lot of good players behind him.

thats because hes been here 10 years. got about 140 goals.

but i think it you look at all the games hes scored in plus league goals then its bleak reading.

im glad he scored today but thats hes 2nd goal in 29 games and he has been starting games.

As I said he hasn't been that a prolific scorer in the last couple of seasons but I think he's a better choice at the moment with Ade....I can't believe I'm saying that.....than Soldado. Yesterday when he came on we looked so much more dangerous in the box. His movement is so much better than Soldado who seems to not be on anybodys wave length.

Soldado's contribution at the moment is very poor and you never feel he's going to score but Defoe does bring other players in and has an eye for goal all the time.

defoe normally kills our play because he cant hold it up but have to agree about soldado.

i heard him and capue walked out of spurs yesterday in a bad mood and ignored fans.

I think Soldado and Capoue will be the first out the door but it's unlikely we can sell them in this window.
