    Soldado

Post by djfitzo on Sun Sep 29 2013, 17:50

    What does everyone think?

I think his movement and unselfishness is creating space and goals for our midfielders. The one chance late on against Cheatski that came for Defoe from Moussa's clever through ball was crying out for a Soldado finish, because if Defoe has time to think about it, his not as effective.

to put into context  this season rvp goes missing in games  only scored 1 more goal but no assts ,

rvp only scored 10 goals in is first season at the arsewipes.

hes more of a grafter than ade or berba . some players take bit longer to adjust.

our final ball is lacking thats all. we are second with a team of strangers, once these get to know each others game then we will see the best of soldado .when you pay the fee you expect instant results, we only 6 or 7 games in  i will do some reaserch on how new signings strikers did in there first season and i will bet more flopped than were instant hits .......watch this space.

first season for a new club.
    w. rooney - 11 goals in 29 games.
    c.ronaldo  - 4 goals in 29 games.
    t. henry  17 goals in 31 games.
    d. drogba 10 goals in 26 games.
    c. tevez 14 goals in 34 games. utd.
    d. bergkamp 11 goals in 33 games .
    l.saurez 4 goals in 13 games.
    o.giroud 11 goals in 34 games.
messi 1 goal in 7 games . second season 6 in 17 games.

Great stats find LLR. Rep for them.
Soldado looks OK to me. I like his movement and reading of the game. I feel he just needs to get a bit better service. He is an old fashioned goal poacher type of striker and needs the ball into the box quickly to thrive on . . . .

i think soldado will be okay but it dont help with our team at time being way to selfish.

like i said before the top players know when to pass and when to be greedy. its okay if your a few goals up but not 1 0 in big game.

i do hope that ade plays in some games because towards the end of last season he really did started to show good form.

Thought he did remarkably well considering the battering he got from Terry and Luis every time he went to head you could see arms round his neck or on his shoulders holding him down.
His goals will come but his flick touch for the goal was superb. I have no doubts about him

I hope you're right Seebee, I'm not convinced at the moment. I also don't think that was so much of a flick to Siggy for the goal as it bounced off his leg as he tried to get to the ball.

Still it's early days yet and he can start banging them in at any time.
I would like to see Defoe given a run, maybe even with Soldado.

makes me laugh that everyone slagging off darrent bent because all he did was score goals.

and now we pay 27mil for another goal poacher

i see suarez scored two goals on hes return to the prem.

    hes a specal player
Lought, even Darren Bent could have scored those two yesterday, on a plate mate.

What the hell has a thread about Soldado, a Spurs player, got to do with Darren Bent? Or the cannibal Suarez come to that? You berate 2 Spurs players in this thread and praise other players instead. And Darren Bent was ordinary at best Lought . . . .

darren bent did not get many starts for spurs but he is a natural goalscorer who loves to score in the big games.

he has over 7 goals aganst arsenal
    over 5 aganst man u

Lou you can only play 11 players and I can see Lamela and Chadri getting their chances as you know it is a long season.  After saying that Lou for you to bring Darren Bent of all people is beyond me.  I would not have him near our team even for free

ade was a slow starter last season because he had no pres season. then went to the african cup nations. right or wrong he wanted to play for hes country.

then when he came back he was good and got some vital goals.

defoe started last season and scored some goals but the team sufferd because of that then he got dropped and we played better.

defoe always starts off welll then goes rubbish.

ade in hes first season was amazing and got loads of goals and assits.

remember the liverpool 4 0 game.
remember the great goal away to chelsea.

dont you think ade would fit in with this team
