    Ing-Ger-Land V Poland Empty Ing-Ger-Land V Poland

Post by vis Wed Oct 16 2013, 03:32

Ah such memories. Tonight will be that rarity, an Ing-Ger-Land game I can actually get into. Should be good & a cracking atmosphere with an alleged 18,000 car washers & fruit pickers crammed in. Turn ya tellys up loud ha ha.
Where I live there are a lot of Poles and sometimes things get a bit tense with them. So hopefully an Ing-Ger-Land victory will burst their bubble for awhile!
I so clearly remember 1973 and Jan Tomeceski (spelling?). Cloughie calling him a clown. I was 10 and that, I think, was the game when I realised football can hurt as much as it can bring enjoyment. Watched it with me dear ole Dad. LOL even then he said Cloughie should be national manager. All those chances and all that heartbreak. A good education for watching Spurs all me life me thinks? Any how I reckon tonight will be tight but Ing-Ger-Land will prevail . . . . .

Lought do you really think the Poles will throw the game in front of 18,000 of their fans? Do you really think the Polish 'keeper will throw the game because he earns his living in London? If you do you are dafter then I ever thought . . . .
