He's doing what the club reward him handsomely to do. What do you make of his extended abscences, his mocking of the club when they lost, his inability to go more then a couple of games without injury or suspension?
    Yup he was really good today & I hope it continues . . . . .

Wasn't it proven he and his brother were not at all close?
Played for Togo then fucked off to the beach for an extra week, then missed booked & payed for flights.
Stupid sending off against arsenil that cost us the game.
Lought just because he has scored a few goals & had 2 good games on the bounce doesn't make him the Messiah. LOL I bet you are dissapointed in him before I am . . . . .

He's better than Defoe is now but not better than Defoe was.

Playing like he did yesterday he is a good player but as has been said there is always a background of him losing interest or sulking or some other issue. The fact that another club agreed to pay a percentage of his wages, just to get shot of him speaks volumes to me. On that point, what happens at the end of the season when City withdraw that money. Spurs certainly won't pay him the amount he reportedly 'earns' and he's not the sort of person who will take a pay cut.

You're absolutely right Seebee there is no loyalty to the club he's just in it for the money. I read yesterday that he feels the club have been "disrespectful" to him what about the way he's treated the club.

However we needed those goals yesterday and like most Spurs supporters I'm grateful but to be honest after his performances and attitude last season he owed us that.

I hope he continues to score for us this season and help us to move on but if he leaves at the end of the season I wont' be unhappy.

anyone would think there's a transfer window coming up for ade to put himself in the shop window, if you were cynical. Like me

when has defoe ever played aswell as ade.
when has defoe had a peak like ade robbie keane ect

the guy should be the first one out and dont tell me defoe is loyal
he left to join the massive portsmouth.
now hes going to the mls to join hes rapper mate

so much for him wanting to join a prem club to get games to get in the england sqaud.

ade last 5 games 5 goals. when was the last time defoe scored in the prem

However, he only found the net nine times in 36 appearances in all competitions in 2012-13

    Guess whose stat that is? Clue - not Defoe . . . . . .

    soldado maybe
    look up defoe stats

    they really bad
and thats added to the 4 seasons since hes been back

remember second half of the last 4 seasons hes got something like 4 4 3 3 goals

add to hes 1 prem goal since dec 2012 and hes had loads of starts.

    ade played for big clubs
    defoe only played for us

Any chance that we can quit the oneupmanship?

Are scored and won us the game, what has happened previously is in the past.

Enjoy the bloody win for Chrissakes, we deserved it.
