    Feel a bit sorry for Caulker though Baz, cos i think he would be a great pairing for Kaboul, as i think Younes is our first choice centre back.

    If Harry or whoever is in charge can keep the following happy, we would have 4 excellant centre backs

    I still think Caulker will get his chance Dave. King and Gallas won't figure much next season if at all. Kaboul, Vertonghen, Dawson, Caulker will be great as back up for each other in case of injuries etc,

    Trouble is Harry dont rotate, if we shell out for Vertonghen, sure as eggs is eggs, Harry will start him alongside Kaboul and has caulker is a regular at Swansea, can you see him being patient? Still, havent signed him yet and we are already making plans!!

    I cant see anyone of Vertonghen's level signing for us until our CL - EL situation is sorted ...But it will be great to have those four as our center halves next season ....
    Loads of games , loss of form , injuries etc ....
    A manager who rotates as you say in your other post DJ, will give them all game time...

    This has been widely touted across the meeja of late that Spurs are the club he wants to sign for. If so then regardless of competition status surely if the terms & condtions are favourable he will sign regardless ? Maybe like Bergkamp he was a Spurs fan as a lad ? Trouble is we all know what happened with Bergkamp Hope this is true. 103888. . . . . . ..
