    Time to say goodbye

Post by totalytot on Wed Oct 01 2014, 08:46

In recent weeks I have been going on other forums as this one has sadly died. It's the same 3 or 4 people like Seebee, Len, Vis and Lought and even they are few and far between.

With the exception of Vis even the administrators have gone so if nobody is posting or looking after the forum then it's time to move on.

It's sad as it was a good forum and full of lively debate and opinion but if I'm going to air my views and opinions I want to know that I will get some comeback even if they don't agree.

Spurs Community has over a hundred people most days with something to say. Sure there is a lot of crap as you would expect with so many posting but there is a lot of good stuff aswell and you can guarantee after a game there will be plenty to say.

Look at this week we play our big North London rivals get a draw and nearly won and hardly a mention on here.

So I'm signing off now and I wish you all good health and a good life.

      Mikey M

Sorry to see you go Mikey but in life we are always moving on. Unfortunately my musical commitments are at a level now where I can no longer spend the time doing match threads & predictions and I apologize as I know that used to bring in a regular few. I wish you & yours all the very best Mikey & have been proud to have had your acquaintance over the years. If you do decide to look in once in a while you will find me doing the same. Take care mate . . . . . .

It is a shame. But this isn't the first and won't be the last forum to fold. I am busy elsewhere so rarely get a chance to pop in. It really was a great forum at one stage but as Vis said everything moves on. I may pop in from time to time for old times sake. Quite sad really.

    Baz.

Me too I do not have the appetite any more to post as I used to for obvious reasons. Although I agree with what has been said, however I hope someone will come out with a winning formula to invigorate the forum. It has been a fantastic journey and for me personally I had fond memories throughout the years all the way back during the AOL era. It is a bit like saying goodbye to school colleagues but hoping to meet again.
My gratitude to the Administrators, moderators and all those involved in making this forum once a success
I admit I do glance in now and then but you can see as painful as it is the demise of the forum may be it is better to call it a day if so I will be glad to be informed of a similar forum that I can join
