All our yesterdays !

Thu Nov 19 2009, 21:06 by lewspurs

As we are in a moment of inactivity for spurs and other clubs, i would ask what memory of our great club do you remember most days and hold most dear ?

For myself i loved the martin chivers, martin peters, allan mullery years, they were special to me, not only for what they achieved but because of the moments they left me with people that have long departed this planet.

Player loyalty.

Fri Nov 20 2009, 19:45 by lewspurs

When i posted " all our yesterdays " i thought about players like mullery, chivers , peters, england, and the sort of money players of their class might command today ! chiv would be worth £30 mill in modern terms ,while mullery and peters would have commanded fees of at least £20 mill............i would ask would they have been loyal to spurs or moved on to clubs like chelsea and fe...

Key gooner goner.

Sun Nov 15 2009, 12:38 by lewspurs

Wasnt that far back when burger and myself were arguing about the loss of key players, burger said they were missing key players too when we lost against them a couple of weeks back............well the point is now arsenal have really lost a key player in van plonker, and he is what i call a key player for them as modric and lennon are for us.

a joke!

The worst Spurs team.

Sat Nov 14 2009, 12:54 by BazSpur (Admin)

Following on loosely from another thread I thought it might give you some brain excercise to think of a Spurs team of past and present players who would qualify as the worst Spurs team ever. Comprising of players you have seen over the years that were really poor. Players that should never have worn the famous shirt. I am not very good at remembering players to make a team myself but as examples h...
