A London team ? 348204 My thoughts exactly Seebee. Funny enough I read this yesterday on facebook. Whatever they say we were in the vicinity long before they were. No matter when the boundaries changed. Anyway it's been done on here before and neither side will give way so what's the point?

    @ Seebee . . . lmao . Rep for ya my good man . . . .

@ Nic. Oh dear SparkyMarky has woken from his sleepy slumber and is rattling his cage bars again..

Plumstead - Much of the early history of Plumstead can be found in Edward Hasted's extensive history of Kent.

Plumstead was also the home of the Peculiar People.

arsenal Football Club (then known as royal arsenal or woolwich arsenal) played in Plumstead between 1886 and 1913, at various grounds in the Plumstead area, but mainly at the Manor Ground, on the north side of Plumstead High Street and the Invicta Ground, where the Royal Ordnance Factories F.C. also played.

So a relocated Kent team with many different names wants to get all territorial? PMSL . . . . . .

Home of the peculiar people made me chuckle Nic. How apt I thought for the birth place of a team with many different names & grounds. Is it 4 grounds in less then a hundred years? Yup deffo Romany roots from the north of Kent bordaring on the badlands of the Thames marshes . . . .
