Regarding daves shawcross post, we have to remember that dave is passionate about spurs, and as such is just as passionate in his dislike of arsenal, no one wants to see a young lads career ruined through a reckless tackle whatever team they play for ! so i am sure that legs post was out of his passionate love of spurs rather than the individual injury to a rival teams player.

To tell the honest truth , i rate ramsey, and my first reaction on hearing the broken leg news was " wont have him against us when we play them next " sorry if that offends anyone but that is what i thought at the time.

Back in 1988 I broke my fibula, my foot was hanging off, the whole thing was pinned together and i was back training 6 months later and at that time i was 33, afterwards my mates reckoned i had a slight limp but i was sprinting as fast as i was before the accident, and its only now at 55 that i have a touch of the old arthur-ritus in it.

Ramsey is a lot younger than i was when i had my break, and will heal a lot quicker, and probably no harm will be done.

As i said what legs said is from his passion for spurs, i can see that so lets not turn on our own on here, its a good forum and we are allowed the odd slip up in diplomacy from time to time.
