Very good Lought. When Kaboul went off I was concerned yet he came on and looked as though he had played the last 6 or 7 games . . . . . .

i thought he well when he came on, today was a big test because liverpool are like a wounded animal of late, we know they can match anyone on there day and yesterday they were very unlucky but i would say the better team won it in the end, there were quite a few wayward passes yesterday , modders for one gave it way in midfield several times and ekotto was a little lazy in his clearances, but all in all i thought the team did exceptionaly well , the first half was another story

Bassong was quality when he came on, stopped Pool scoring 2 or 3 definate goal chances. Good on the lad, he's fighting for his place. He will probably start next game as Kaboul will be out.

I do like a left footer on that side of the defence, good balance, although Kaboul was comfortable with either foot.
