Skysports.com understands that Aston Villa are lining up a move for Tottenham's Kyle Walker.


Villa boss Gerard Houllier is keen to add some pace to his
struggling defence and Walker has impressed on loan at QPR this season.The 20-year-old full-back has made 20 appearances for the Championship outfit, helping them charge clear as runaway leaders.The
Hoops were hoping to keep hold of Walker but Villa can offer him
top-flight football and Houllier has already made enquiries.However, it is unclear if Spurs boss Harry Redknapp would be willing to let Walker make a move to their Premier League rivals.Spurs
saw Walker as one for the future when they made a double swoop to sign
him and fellow youngster Kyle Naughton from Sheffield United in July
2009.Walker soon returned to the Blades on loan before moving
back to White Hart Lane to make two Premier League starts for Spurs
towards the end of last season

i heard that aswell. amazing . i wonder if spurs fans still say how good he is now hes going to leave spurs.

He is a good player , and in the right hands he may become world class some time in the future,who knows? But players come and go, thats the nature of football. Harry might include him in a deal for Ashley Young

why oh why do we want young none of our strikers or good in the air. we dont need sumone to put crosses in the air.

so if we sell walker then us buyin him and naughton and bostoke has been a waste.

Well done lee ! repped because at least you have seen the truth why he has been recalled, for right back cover now hutton is injured.

Going to sunderland on loan last term didnt mean the end of huttons spurs career ! in fact it brought him back to spurs a better player......a loan to villa for walker will do the same and ready him for the prem next term.

With corluka getting a little slow now i reckon walker will be understudy to hutton next term lought, cant see him being sold.

Makes perfect sense Lew,cant play against us (if we get them in the cup) and after setting the fizzy pop league alight, we can see if he can do it in the prem, if he does well, keep him, if he doesnt he can room with Taraabt, diff is his kept very quiet and gone about his business in a mature and professional way, thats the kind of player we should be keeping.
