Modric Refutes Exit Rumours.

Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric has rejected speculation he could leave for a Premier League rival or move abroad.


The Croatia international has been linked with the likes of
Manchester United and Chelsea recently along with Spanish champions
Barcelona.The 25-year-old insists there is no truth in the
rumours that he will depart White Hart Lane, stating he is happy with
the North Londoners.Modric is growing tired of the speculation
surrounding his future as he committed his long-term future to the club
as recently as last May after penning a six-year contract.

"There's no truth in all these rumours," he told Sportskenovosti."The only truth is that I'm a Tottenham player and I'm happy to be where I am. I'm fully focused on my job."Following my arrival in 2008 every transfer window is the same. Newspapers are always talking about me moving away."The
story is always the same. Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and so
on. Every time it's the same stories and I even saw them last June when I
signed my new contract with Tottenham!"My future? Who knows what the future will bring, but I'm a Tottenham player and I'm happy to be at White Hart Lane."

Modric is here for the long haul and i will be speaking his name in many a year in the same way some of you older guys speak about Hoddle Ardiles and Gilzean. He will be a Spurs Legend!!!

Funny you should mention the 30 Mill quote...i found this article this morning as was going to start a new post but can add it here...what is everyones thoughts on this ? £30 mill for Modric and £70 mill for bale...god i hope we dont sell them but 100 mill is too hard for any club to turn down !!!

Luka already is a legend in my eyes , i can honestly say now ive never seen anyone better in a spurs shirt, he is the best player for many a moon, the new hoddle , hes just a sensational player.

I doubt he'd leave, there was story a few years back about the wages he was on 75 grand, and apparently modders was so embarrassed by it he even said to a close friend of his it was obsene wages to be on that much compared to what he was on in croatia, so i dont think its abut the money
