    Fixtures, 2011-12 Empty Fixtures, 2011-12

Post by Boltjean Tue Jun 21 2011, 01:56

I have just seen the opening fixture's for the 2011-12 season and get the impression that we have got the worst possible start we could have, is this a fix, Man U, Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal in our opening seven games pluss I do not think Everton is the kind of game to start the season with. I then look at Chelsea's first seven, Stoke, WBA, Norwich, Sunderland, Man U, Swansea and Bolton, they could get 18 point's from these game's. Man City have, Swansea, Bolton, Spurs, Wigan, Fulham, Everton, and Blackburn, they could get 16 point's. Do you think this fixture list is set up to give certain club's a head start in the race for the premiership title. In my honest oppinion, I can see us being in the bottom six or seven after we have played Arsenal, not good for morale and I think certain player's head's will drop especially those that might think they would have been better off at other club's. I would like honest oppinion's as to where you think we will be in the Premiership after our first seven game's, and with how many point's. I hate saying this but I do not think we need to be fighting to get away from near the bottom of the table at the start of the season. If we could get 12 point's from those opening games so as to prevent the likes of Chelsea and City opening up to big a gap at the top then I would be pleased with that, but even with our game's against Wigan and Wolves, games we should win who can tell with Spurs, probably win the games you expect them to lose and lose those you expect them to win. Sorry for being a doom and gloom merchant.

I saw a story on Tottenham news now about the fixture list , in all honesty why not make the fixture draw live, i know it would take some time, but then there would be no qualms about it

On the other hand you could say we start against the better teams so we have advanced warning to get the players match fit and ready to do battle.

Yes it doesnt look good but we have to play them at some stage or the other so why not in the first 8 or 10 games.

No game is easy in the prem, we made hard work of the so called lesser teams last year, which duly cost us that cl place, not playing agsinst the likes of the goons or liverpool, it was the wolves and wigans that let us down.

2 points from the first 9 available and just the one goal, has all the fickles cyclops calling for Harrys head, but then Crouch gets injured just prior to kick off at Molineux forcing 'Harry can do no wrong' to play Pav, who then as per usual saves the gaffers butt by hitting an away day hat-trick to get our season on the move Suspect

Maybe a tricky start but look at the run-in and it looks like the easiest we have had in years . . . . . .

    Bloody Oath Vis!

I like these starting fixtures, they'll force us to raise our game right from the off. I see the inferiority complexes are kicking in already with the 'It doesn't look too good comments.'

Statement of intent here chaps, let's get out there and turn these lot over. They are our competition for the title not the elite that we look up to.

We're good enough to win the league, time we went out and proved it.

The run in for us couldn't be better. Get that start out of the way with some good results and the title is ours for the taking hahahaha < Manic Laughter. Fixtures, 2011-12 933444

Theres only one way to look at it. More than 8 points and were doing better than last season. But we wont be so tied up with europe, although I bet you the goons have got all the home matches before european games.

Everton Home . Everton never start well. 3
Man U Away we deserve something here more than anywhere but allas 0
Man City Home Big test for us but a bigger test for them 1
Wolves Away Banker wolves to go down 3
Liverpool Home I can see us winning this match were a better team and the Honymoon is over for dalgleeeesh 3
Wigan Away I'm not having this any other way 3
Arsenal Home Could be the fall apart year we have all been waiting for but caution dictates 1

14 pts but ask me again when the season starts.
