Dembele signs for 15m

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to pay a transfer fee of £15million to Fulham for Moussa Dembele. The Belgium international midfielder who was also the subject of an offer from Manchester United earlier in the transfer window will join in time for Tottenham's Premier League fixture this weekend subject to completing a medical.

If that's true and I'm not sure it is then I don't understand how we would pay 15 mil for Demble and only offer 12 for Willem and Damio. They are much better players than him.

Jol has got Fulham playing some decent football , demebele is worth every penny , i expect fulham might want a player thrown in at this late stage

Good player Dembele - reasonable price - PL experience - how old is he ?

Then his best years should be in front of him - surprised given that he made clear he wanted out of Fulham Spuds were the only onesin for him

With the arrival of Dembele, pluss the signings of Sigurdson and Vertonghen, do you think that AVB is jumping the gun a bit making so many changes all in one go. Don't get me wrong I rate him and think he will bring trophies to Spurs, and I am quite excited about the rebuilding of the squad, but now Modric has departed I do not think he should be looking to off-load so many players in his first transfer window at the club. I have read that he wants shot of VDV, Lennon and Parker, imo perhaps we could cope without VDV but Lennon and Parker? a bit puzzled to be honest. I believe that when new players arrive they need established players like parker around them, to help them settle in, but get rid of to many and keep bringing in players, what worries me is how long will it take the new influx of players to gel, and what damage could it do to our season while we wait for them to do so.

What worries me is we still don't have a striker and there's talk of Defoe going which means we will need 2 strikers and there is just 2 days to go.

There is plenty in the kitty as well as Modric £30 mil( I thought he was holding out for 40 mil)there is also £15 mil from the sales of Krancar,Pienar and Bassong and if Dawson goes for £10 thats nearly £60 mil to spend on players. So offering 11 and 12's for top strikers and leaving it to the last minute is a recipe for disaster.

Like the rest of us I keep looking at the tele and listening to the radio every 5 minutes hoping we have signed a striker or two.

Spurs have spent £38m already, so that leaves £12m from all the players which have been bought & sold, thats why an £11.8m bid was made for Willian. It seems we still have to sell to buy.

we wont buy 2 strikers. why would we. abv will play 1 up front. we have defoe and ade.

plus we have about 11 midfeilders.

i have heard this fella stats are def worth a mention when it comes to tackles in the midfield....but havnt heard wat his bookings are like LOL
fingers crossed...thinking we aint finished in the transfer market soooooo tomorrow could be nerve wracking....
