dont see whats funny about it, harrys the logical choice i would have thought lought for rangers in their predicament and harrys previous form as the red adair of the premier league. as a matter of fact i just checked out ladbrokes odds of qpr staying up, its 6/5, so im gonna have a ton on that tommorow and pick up 220 quid in may. worth a punt mate?

ye its great he will suit qpr. its going to be good to see him work with tarrabt again. he already on record of saying how much he rates the lad and thats why he put such a high sell on fee when he let him go to qpr.

i wish i could put a lot of money on qpr to stay up but im in process of buying a new car. i got few bets on 2mz on goal rush lol maybe if man u beat qpr the price may go out a bit.

how about qpr 16/1 to beat man u. man u lost at norwich plus they not look great and qpr will be wanted to put in good performance for the on looking harry

If he rated him why did he sell him Lought? And I also recall your berating of Redknapp for not using him enough. This appointment seems to have divided opinion evenly with those who like & admire Redknapp and those who think he is a dodgy chancer . . . . . .

but every other player he let go he didnt put a sell on claus. bostock gio and all the other youngsters.

i think we get 40% of any sale from him. thats really high and harry already gone on paper saying he didnt want to let him go.
this is hes second season in the prem and is doing okay working harder and already got 2 great goals and hit the wookwork a few times and has assists.

i read somewhere modric assits and goals last season was poor. even downing whos been in the prem for years and is 28 and had no goals r assists last season.

Harry: Adel has a big future

    Redknapp: ‘Adel’s an amazing talent’

Adel has a big future. He’s an amazing talent with the ball.""
    Harry Redknapp
NEW R’S boss Harry Redknapp has quashed speculation suggesting Adel Taarabt won’t feature in his plans at Loftus Road – insisting the Moroccan playmaker has a big part to play under his guidance.

Redknapp, of course, loaned and then sold Taarabt to QPR during his time as Spurs boss, but the 65 year-old was quick to set the record straight regarding the R’s fan’s favourite.

Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Redknapp said: “Adel has a big future.

“He’s an amazing talent with the ball. He can still do more without it, but there’s no doubt he’s a match-winner for us.

“He can turn things for us. He’s the player who can do something special, so we’ll be looking to get the best out of him.”

Redknapp added: “I never really wanted to sell him at Tottenham to be honest.

“I had a good relationship with him. I never had a problem with Adel.

“At times his problems were self-inflicted, but I let him go because he wasn’t playing and the Chairman felt it was a good time to let him go.

“He was a player I was always wary of letting go because I knew he could come back and haunt me one day.”

Redknapp has been his usual mercurial self in stating when he joins QPR that he didn't want to let Trabbant leave Spurs. Then why the blue blazes did he let he leave if he rated him so highly? Why did he not do what you were always advocating Lought and build the Spurs team around him? Didn't though did he? Played him a couple of occasions and flogged him on. Levy, surely, would have put in the sell-on clause otherwise it would end up in a dogs bank account! FFS this is the usual Redknapp BSflag . . . . . .

because when we got vdv he had no room for adel. harry played the same 11 every week once we got vdv,.

he only played the kids in uefa and carling cup.
since dembele been out we missed someone like tarrabt to make things happen.

you dont put on such a high sell on clause if a player is pony. how much did we buy bostock for again.

i see he had another decent game at old trafford.
just hope he dont run the show aganst us like he did last season at qpr

    From the Telegraph.............

Manchester United poised to tempt cash-strapped Queens Park Rangers with £12m offer for midfielder Adel Taarabt
Manchester United are considering a shock £12 million bid for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt in the January transfer window.

Any offer could tempt new QPR manager Harry Redknapp into a sale as it would raise the crucial funds he requires to bolster his squad when the window reopens.

At present there is only a relatively small amount of money available to Redknapp, who could also rely heavily on the loan market as he targets a striker and a central defender, in particular, in his attempt to haul QPR off the bottom of the Premier League.

Redknapp was guarded yesterday about his plans for the forthcoming window, again pointing out that investment had already been made in the squad with 12 players arriving – at a cost of £14 million in transfer fees and a sharp increase in QPR’s wage bill – during the summer.

QPR do not have the £9 million they bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson, who will be a target again, in August as they had to spend £3.8 million on midfielder Esteban Granero to add to the squad. That was because of uncertainty over whether Samba Diakite would return to the club from France, as he has subsequently done, after he suffered from depression.

Spurs would appear less likely to allow Dawson to leave in January than they were in August, with Younes Kaboul still out injured, and would certainly resist any approach for Scott Parker, who is also yet to play this season. Jermain Defoe is not for sale either.

Good post Vis. Taarabt did not get much of a chance under Harry. I wonder Lought if Pav had still been here if he would have stood a better chance under AVB than he did under Redknapp. In all honesty I think he was a better player than Dempsey, but having said that he had a good game against West Spam and I hope it all comes good for him. Re Dawson Lought, he want's to stay at Spurs

So today Redknapp is pasted across the back pages of the tabloids giving it the "BIG 'UN"?
This old pr*ck is full of more excrement then the London sewage system.
Yeah I fink Adel is triffic. Thats why I never played him that often at Spurs, I was saving back for my new family club.
Yeah the squad is lazy thats why they called me in, cos I is triffic in getting the best out of players and my tictacs is second to none and even if they is my Son Jaime will stick up for me on Sky.
Yeah triffic if we don't stay up it ain't my fault but if we do then that proves why I sudda had the Ing-Ger-Land job. Saying that Woy's alwight. Weally he is . . . .
Redknapp has gone into double mode meeja whore and everyone loves him for it.
Back page of the Sun today Redknapp says he hasn't watched a Premier League game since "leaving Spurs". WTF? He's a pundit on BBC1's Match of the Day. Covers only Premier League games. And theres the chancer Redknapp stealing license payers money by talking about it but not actually watching the product? Thief. Might as well have got Rosie the dog on. Thats probably the bank account the money went to . . . . .
Remember Lought that you used to scream for Trabbant to be included under 'arry and yet now you have swallowed the Redknapp party line and believe he will be integral to QPR's future? Mate you have believed the alchemist that is Redknapp, good luck . . . . .

vis calm down. i can see through harrys Bollox. i saw through it from day one. it took months for some of you lot to see it. he know rekons if he keeps qpr up it will be hes biggest acheivment. also now all hes familey are qpr fans and took them to the club shop to buy the replica shirts.

like you say if he keeps them up then its down to him but if they go down its not hes fault even though theres been teams in worse of postion before and they got saved.
