I know most of the year we are consumed with our beloved Spurs but being a proud Englishman I do like to watch our National team and I'm looking forward to the world cup in Brazil.

I don't expect us to do well, in fact it will be very difficult for us to get out of our group.

It wont happen but I would like to see Hodgson pick a squad of mostly young promising players and leave out the likes of Lampard, Cole and others who have had a good run in the England team with out ever coming close to winning anything.

I would much rather we played a side of young potential stars of the future and gave it a good go than play the usual hard working but little creativity old brigade.

We have some very good young players and there isn't any point in waiting another 4 years to see if they develop, blood them now and they may just surprise us.

I'm of the same opinion pick the younger players and if we don't do so well in Brazil keep them together for the Euros and the next world cup. Lampard, Cole Gerrard et al have had their chances.
