    Like loads on here i expected more of england ! i am gutted, a rare day when the wife and myself werent like ships in the night and had the afternoon together didnt end as we wanted it to and i am sure many on here were the same.

    Too many of our guys just didnt deliver and it wasnt to be ! in my heart of hearts i didnt believe we would win the world cup.................my problem was reading the hype about rooney and how all our hopes were pinned on him performing well, so come on lads its back to the premiership soon and a new era for tottenham hotspur.........we have a lot to look forward to.............now it starts.............who will harry buy ?

    Nice one Lew, trying to lift the spirits. Wonder how many people, like me, had a BBQ after the game and really didn't enjoy it lol ? If Forlan keep's banging 'em in can see him comin' and as long as 'arry don't head for Lancaster Gate (or the 21st century equivilent) Joe Cole . . . . . . ..

    It wasnt any one players fault you moron ! gerrard , rooney, barry and terry etc all underperformed, rooney and gerrard imo were major disappointments, but none of the england team that played today can stand up and say they performed well.

    Dont know why i bother answering your nonsense mr sharpest knife in the drawer ! i may as well have the same discussion with the cat !
