It's about time Harry Redknapp waded into the summer transfer bun fight - and stories suggest he is ready to do so, with three players at the top of his list that could cost Tottenham more than £45 million.

Goal.com are reporting that Redknapp's top transfer target is Uruguyan World Cup star Luis Suarez, who would cost in the region of £35m alone. Suarez will be remembered as much for his quarter-final handball as his goal scoring exploits at the World Cup, but his displays for Uruguay shot him to prominence and now it seems Ajax will have a fight on their hands to keep hold of him.

The Dutch club don't want to sell and are said to need at least £35 million to be tempted to do so.

Redknapp's two other leading targets are both Manchester City players - striker Craig Bellamy and defender Micah Richards.

Bellamy is seen by Redknapp as an ideal player for a three-man attack, and Spurs are said to be prepared to pay around £7 million for the Welshman.

Meanwhile, with both Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King giving Redknapp long-term injury headaches, England international defender Richards would be a great acquisition. City are said to value the 22-year-old in the £15 million bracket, but Spurs are hoping to pay nearer £9m.

Micah Richards would be great for player and Club. He really needs a change and would be great cover for centre back and perfect for right back.
Heard he likes the fast cars women and night life, so london would be perfect for him... Is the only downside..but maybe a move would change that.
