I agree, unless the ref was 100% sure that the whole ball crossed the line then he cant give the goal...?? And i am sure that Gomes was pushed slightly buy Huth anyway so if the ref couldnt see the goal then he couldnt see the foul to give a free kick !!!

it was agreat result dave, its a difficult place to play, the ball was over the line but them the breakes u get in footaball, dont use all that luck up too early now, save a bit for europe this week.

I find it truely refreshing that supporters of the team that finished only a few points above us last season are already casting worried glances over their shoulders and whinging about the type of decisions that have gone their way for many years. Everyone knows the ball was over the line, however had Foy given the blantant push by Huth on Gomes ,then it wouldnt have mattered anyway. Luck dont come into it, we didnt take a chance with 3 strikers and one the best midfielders in Modric, expect them to play against Young Boys.
