Tottenham tracking £20 Million Bundesliga hit man

Tottenham are tracking unhappy Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko and have apparently been informed that £20 Million will be enough to lure the giant Bosnian to White Hart Lane in the January transfer window.

Wolfsbirg had slapped a €30 Million fee on the player but with no takers and the player clearly unhappy it is now being reported that the German club are prepared to lower their asking price, a move that will be music to the ears of Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.

Redknapp is growing more and more frustrated with his strikers wastefulness in front of the goal and is preparing to listen to offers for Roman Pavlyuchenko if the rumours are to be believed.

Tottenham will face fierce competition from the likes of Juventus, however Redknapp is thought to be confident that he will be able to persuade the 24 year old striker to choose the Premiership over Serie A and with Champions League football and the likes of Rafael van der Vaart joining Spurs, Redknapp believes that his side are just as attractive a proposition as any club these days.

Can't say i know much about this guy but if reports are true then maybe this is what we need, we seriously do need a drogba type game winner , sooner rather than later

The big question is, is he worth £20m??? players are always over-priced, but our scouts at Spurs usually know what they're doing.

I didn't know much about the guy until the media in the summer said a number of Prem sides were looking at him I watched a couple of games on the Tele and he looked quite tasty but it was only a couple of games and to be honest what do we believe in the papers these days. I mean Pav was definately going in the summer but he's still here. So these days I believe it when it happens, look at VDV who ever saw that coming.
