Could be new signings for harry with liverpool also in for parker.

Pienaar looks like a done deal , he wants to come to spurs ! problem is it might be in the summer when he can sign for free..everton might try to offload in jan to get a fee.

Liverpool are proving a pain in the transfer market just as man city were when harry first came as boss, with a few spurs targets also being courted by hodgson...ie scott parket who would provide the midfield with a bit of aggression.

Adebayer looks a no go according to harry denying interest, man city could have started those rumours because of interest in bale? i rate adebayer but not at the expense of young gareth........!

All in all could be four new players coming in jan to strengthen for the important stages of the champions league and a push for the title.

Laugh at your peril at the last statement...........harry is serious about the prem title and wants levys backing for new signings when the window opens..........

I posted sort of tongue in cheek somewhere else on here that now the CL has finished for the time being Arry will push for the Prem title now. However, it's obvious he means it.

I think we have as good a chance as anyone, the defence needs stiffening, but as long as we keep scoring more than the opposition i am........... Very Happy

I dont want either Pienaar or Parker as Im not sure they would add anything better to what we already have in our midfield ...Pienaar is not a bad player but Im not to sure where he'd fit in ..Now if it were Van Bommel ( short term ) or someone like Pienaar's team mate Fellaini, then yes, as both or either would toughen us up a notch and add qualities to our passing game ...

I think its a case of getting in better replacements than those that will be undoubtably sold in the window.

I think harry deems a few surplus and thats why he doesnt give them much playing time?

I think he is Shear (the list below is from September). . . .

New Barclays Premier League rules mean every top-flight club has to declare a senior squad of up to 25 players from which they can select players between now and the re-opening of the transfer window in January.
Players who are under 21 at the turn of 2011 can play without being named in the squads.
Eight of the 25 need to be 'homegrown', which means they must have been trained in England or Wales for three seasons before they turned 21.
Changes to the squads outside of the transfer windows can only be made in exceptional circumstances, such as when a move made be allowed because of a goalkeeping crisis.

The list below is as presented by the Premier League. Numbers do not correspond to squad numbers

Certainly would not want Pienar, very overated. Not seen him have a good game for Everton this year. He was crap against us. As for Adebyor, another overated player and a trouble maker also.

But I would take Parker I rate him very highly and I think he is just what we need in midfield tough tackling and a goal scorer also.

But you know what, Harry really wants Carrick and Ferguson wants to offload him and I can see him coming but what worries me is that Bale might go the other way. We don't need Carrick he is good on his day but they don't happen very often and we have better already at the club.

It will be very interesting to see who we sell and who we buy in this transfer window and find out how much the club especially Levy want to win things. If we sell a couple of our best players like Bale and Modric and buy second raters or other clubs cast offs then we will never be a big club.

We all have high expectations this year and I would not like to see that destroyed by poor buys and sales.
