Atletico Madrid striker Forlan keen on Tottenham move

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan is keen on a move to Tottenham.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not keen on investing in the over 30s - especially when they cost £10million - but Forlan would still give good service and bring in greater revenue with the success he could prompt.

The player is willing to come to England but is on big money at around £85,000 a week tax free.

He is willing to take a pay cut but would want a longer contract to compensate.

Atletico need to sell - as Miguel Angel Gil’s advert for Sergio Aguero indicates - and the time could be right for Tottenham to drive a bargain - or otherwise look for younger targets.

I cant see it my self, even after one year he will have no sell on value, Levy is too shrewd to have that happen!

Benzema would be ideal even on loan, but if its annouced we have signed forlan so be it, i'd much rather have him than be a light up front if keane leaves, as for neville i really cant see what arry is thinking i really cant , i'd much rather have scott parker if push comes to shove but neville no thanks imo

If i were to look at it though say from arrys view maybe he see's something we are lacking not in terms of skill but in terms of leadership , both neville & scott parker are leaders on the field, its the only thing i can think why arry would want neville for .
