Have to say ive been pleasantly surprised by this lad, i thought having played a full season in Brazil, we wouldnt see the best of him until next term and i also thought the slower type game against Milan suited him, as he was outstanding, but against Wolves yesterday he had a great game. Gonna be interesting to see what Harry does when Hudds fit, cos i think Sandro has more energy then Hudd and will protect the back 4 better.

we agree on sumthing lol sandro was our best player yesterday. he was everywhere putting in tackles. unlike wp you dont feel like sandro will give away too many stupid tackles.
the midfeild should be out of wp sandro hudd and modric. pick 2 from them with jenas the sqaud player.
i dont care what people say but we missed hudd so much because we keep the ball better with him. hes passing can find our attackin players given the defence a break.
for now though it should be sandro and modric in the middle

Sandra was a revelation. He has all Thudds attributes but looks a much better tackler. I reckon 'arry will play the pair together in games where he wants to keep things tight . . . . .

Corluka, although slower then Brian the Snail, is defenisvely more sound than Hutton (IMO). Crouchinio up front as he can lead the line as a lone striker and the fact that VDV is on the bench and chomping at the bit to get on would strike fear into even the most solid of opposistion defences . . . . .

yea i thought charlie was off form early season but look good when he came back.
i really like hutton but hes just not a great defender which is what hes job is. he never seems to stop crosses and has no awarness.
i rekon he would make a decent right winger if we ever get short there

Thats another Bale scenario Lought. Could Hutton do what Bale has done ? Not sure he's "cute" enough when he gets to the opposistions 18 yard box, but it would be worth a look at some stage although we do have plenty of options on the right as it is; Lennon is starting to look the player we all knew & loved again. As for Sandra, the lad continues to impress me and he has to be a shoo-in for the Milano game . . . . . . . .

yea i would play him over wp. im sure harry will play the same team that played in the away game apart from charlie.
im not sure about vdv if hes not fit he should be on the bench rather then risk him. he needs to be ready for the prem games.

I like that formation Arnie, particularly for away games. I'd swap VDV for Crouch though, if playing one up front, with VDV, Defoe and Pav on the bench to give us some scope to change the formation should it be required.
I think the balance there is good, having just the right amount of creativity along with the steel through the middle.

I agree about sandro, the first time i saw him play i though Harry was having a laugh, he seem to have come on in leeps & bounds, but Tommy seems to hold the ball up better and is a much better passer

I like Pavlyuchenko & i think we'd lack height with the rest of the line up if we used Defoe. Plus we'd have no pace with Crouch, so that is why i opted for Roman a cross between to two. But i agree we have to get a top notch striker in during the summer.

I would play Crouch, even though hes not my favourite player either, but he always seems to score in the CL - Ive got £10 on Crouch 1st goal & spurs 2-1 so fingers crossed
