I like that formation Arnie, particularly for away games. I'd swap VDV for Crouch though, if playing one up front, with VDV, Defoe and Pav on the bench to give us some scope to change the formation should it be required.
I think the balance there is good, having just the right amount of creativity along with the steel through the middle.
Its the team to maybe beat Barcelona if it gets the chance , Ion ...
Thou you could be right about Crouch , especialy if we were playing Barca as they dont look to healthy defending the high ball into their box ..
