Plenty of angles to view the 'goal' from... IMO the whole of the ball wasn't over the line, therefore no goal. Under the old rules of the ball needing to be 'wholly' over the line, then it would have been a goal. It was that close.
Yes perhaps Gomes should have held it, just shows how much the modern day balls squirm and dip through the air.

Have to also add that I can't remember a spurs shot on goal in the second half, Chelsk were playing the pressing game quite well.
