Re: Transfer Deadline Day
Aston Villa are set to sign Alan Hutton and Jermaine Jenas from Tottenham Hotspur.
Right-back Hutton, 26, would join on a permanent deal, while midfielder Jenas, 28, would be arrive on loan.
Both players are undergoing medicals before finalising their moves to Villa Park.
Hutton was given permission to leave the Scotland camp earlier on Wednesday and it is understood he has turned down Fulham to join Villa.
He had fallen out at favour at Spurs this season and would be reunited with former Rangers boss Alex McLeish at Villa.
Jenas joined Spurs from Newcastle in 2005 and he has made 201 appearances for the club.

Redknapp had been hoping to sign Gary Cahill from Bolton but that deal also collapsed, prompting Spurs to cancel Bassong's switch.
"[Sebastian] Bassong is off, the Spurs manager told Sky Sports News.
"I felt sorry for QPR boss Neil Warnock but when we couldn't get [Gary] Cahill we had to pull the plug."

Re: Transfer Deadline Day
The 27-year-old Honduras international has signed a four-year deal at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke manager Tony Pulis said: "This is a fantastic deal for the club because Wilson has proved himself to be a top class performer at the highest level."
Palacios moved to Spurs in a £12m deal from Wigan Athletic.
The move was finalised close to the end of the transfer window after Palacios passed a medical and agreed personal terms.
He made 22 starts for Spurs last season and featured for his country at the World Cup in South Africa, playing three times.
Pulis added: "He has a considerable amount of international experience and played a prominent part in getting Tottenham into the Champions League only two years ago.
"He has great energy and the qualities to become a driving force in the middle of the park, the type of player our fans will love.
"We have been looking to stregthen our options in midfield and I am delighted to have him on board."
Palacios follows Jonathan Woodgate, who completed a free transfer from Spurs to Stoke earlier this summer.

Re: Transfer Deadline Day
The 18-year-old, who was previously on the books at Hamilton Accies and Celtic, has signed a two-year contract with an option of a further 12 months.
Scotland Under-19 cap Tapping has come through Spurs' academy, having joined the London club in 2009.
The London-born midfielder moved to Scotland as a five-year-old and attended Larbert High School.
Tapping will join Darren Murray's Hearts under-19 squad and the coach told the club's website: "Callum is a central midfielder with good ability.
"He can see a pass, gets forward and can score goals.
"He's diligent, conscientious as well and someone we think can develop for the future with us."

2325: DONE DEALS
A double deal by Aston Villa to tell you about. They captured Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas on a season-long loan and have also brought in his Spurs team-mate Alan Hutton in a permanent move, with the Scot signing until 2015.
