Is this what happens when an average left back misses a few games
through injury? He seems to have developed a hugely inflated ego &
sense of self-worth. Bye bye Benoit - you are hugely replaceable. Apoel
Nicosia play in the CL every year - you might be better than average
there....

Since when did Assou-Ekotto get "too good" for the Europa League?? Not even in the top 5 Left-Backs in the Prem.

We can't let Assou-Ekotto leave, he has been one of our most consistent
performers for the last 3 seasons! He isn't the best defensively; but
he puts his all into every game, his linkup play with Bale is immense
and we don't have any cover.
I hope Levy holds this "gentlemen's agreement" with as much regards as
he did the one with Modric!

What a Plonker, he aint even good enough for Tottenham and know he
wants more Money!!Allways thought he was Tottenham's weak link, i could
see Baines or Jordi Alba at Tottenham Next year.

I think he sees his stock dropping with soaring Danny Rose and wants to quit while he's ahead.

Re: Benny
But then Harry will put his arm around him and tell him everthing will be alright and he'll have another poor season.
I was hoping Naughton was going to play this season I hope he does next year. That's been a lot of the trouble with Ekotto he has no one pushing for his place. Rose at the moment doesn't seem to be the answer.
