You need to spend less time on Fifa 2012 - it was a doing about 18 months ago as I recall 4-1? 4-2 ?
Go and look it up if you've forgotten

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson
I'm really pleased about the Sigurdson signing.I thought he had a great season with Swansea. He is quick, skilful and gets goals, I think he is just made to order for us and on todays standards not expensive either a bargain in fact.

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson
"The Iceland international Sigurdsson joined Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday after pulling out of a £6.8m move to Swansea City, and a reunion with Rodgers at Anfield because of the personal terms. The Liverpool manager has yet to make a signing since his arrival on 1 June, although he met the squad only this week. He revealed the Sigurdsson deal collapsed because he was not prepared to bow to the midfielder's wage demands, understood to be in excess of £40,000 per week.
Rodgers said: "I am quite relaxed. He did fantastic for me at Swansea last season. I brought him in when he was not playing at Hoffenheim. He was very good for me and scored seven goals in 19 games. We sat down and spoke and we said that playing football was the most important thing but obviously the financial side was important, too. We agreed a deal for Swansea but then I left to become Liverpool manager.
"I know what the market was and I was not prepared to pay anything over what I knew had already been agreed before. Liverpool would have provided Gylfi with a wonderful opportunity to perform with a manager that he knew at a club that is a footballing institution. But he has decided to go to Tottenham for whatever reason. I wish him all the best and he is a good kid. There is no ill feeling. We have got other targets and we will move on."
Agrees to a deal then changes his mind to demand £40k a week
The boy should fit in perfectly to the EPL - a natural

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson
Very likely - rather disappointing someone giving their word then going back on it
Very poor where I come from
If a man gives his word that is it
If he breaks it he is nothing and his word is worth nothing
I anticipate my career as aPL footballer would have been poorly paid

Oh, are you talking about Sol Campbell? Anyway £ 40,000 a week, Chelskis tealady earns more than that.

Then increasing his wage demands and going back on his agreement
In most lines of work, indeed in everyday life, anyone behaving like that would be regarded as a dishonest money grabbing little sh*t
In football though it is yet another everyday story of Premier League folk

Indeed, dont see it getting an better, however Sigs request, considering there are bods earning £ 200,000 a week is not extortionate, oh the joys of football agents, are they as bad as ticket touts?

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson
I read yesterday in the letter from Red and White Holdings aka Alisher Usmanov to the AFC board that they "own" one in three seats in the Emirates !
Okey dokey Mister Usmanov- rather than anicoll5, no1 son and no2 daughter attending the 12-15 games we would normally go to next season we are going to sit at home for one third of them - your third
You had best get your lardie Uzbek a*se down to fill the empty slots
You "own" f*ck all Mr Usmanov - pieces of paper mate - the value of which can go down as well as up

I do have to laugh at the parallels I can draw between Scumball and RVP
Both alluded to staying if the club showed ambition, both left citing wanting to win things. You Gooners do have short memories, you was all pi**ing yourselves when Scumball left us for yous, now RVP is Hannibal!!
