Not A Guy over 30. I was thinking recently about AVB wanting a younger players in. I know he has a 3 Year project Bla Bla Bla. But, is this because he is Young himself and cant cope with having players close to his age to manage. Its that respect your elders thing. When you think that some of the Chelsea squad being of a closer age to AVB, did this play a part in them not backing him.

Great news about JV it's a position filled that was needed.I hope the stories that Moutinio could be coming are true especially if Modric is going which looks a certainty now.

The Ady is one that intrigues me. If as they are saying that Mancini wants him off the books and has offered him to us for 5mil. which is a bargain on current rates. How are we going to pay his 170,000 a week wages without having a riot at the club with the other players.

170 grand aweek is a no no ,ade can feck off , we are spurs not city ,if he can take a wage cut 100grand lets sign him, 170 is to much

i heard we will pay him about 5 mill one off payment to cover rest of hes wages

Just been looking at some videos of him and he looks class and what struck me is we have solved the solution of cover for Benny.
Being left footed, he is comfortable at left back and we can just bring in Caulker or Dawson and shift him across, good bit of business alround. Levy business acumen comes to the fore again and played the waiting game knowing Ajax couldnt afford to let him go on a free, ok sometimes we miss out on players, but its down to Levy that financially we a stable club.

noooooooo wayyyyyyy parker omg he was bang averge in the last few months it was when harry finnaly had the balls to give him a rest we started to win games again

okay hes form might be down to that twat harry playing him untill he dropped but sandro came in and will be the better player
we saw what parker was like in the euros. limited

It's great that what was a real worry position for us last season with Dawson injured for most of it and Ledley being poor old Ledders and Gallas always out, is now our strongest.

Personally I would like to see JV partnered with Dawson. He's played some great games for us before his injury.

I think Parker is the obvious choice the team played so much better when he was bought in from the Hammers last season.His head never drops and he leads by example.

I think you are wrong about the Euro's Lought he was one of the few successes Engand had. Parker and Gerrard were voted our 2 best players by the media.

No Parker for captain will do for me.

Kaboul has the little bit of extra pace Mikey that Daws dont have.

I guess pre-season will give AVB an idea of who to partner JV, as we have
been chasing him for a year, i just cant see him not being first choice.

but pirlo did what parker did a hundred times better
parker a few times couldnt play a simple 5yard pass to walcott
england needed something more then a guy that puts hes body on the line.

as for dawson we missed him but i would still have kaboul to start over him.
i think kaboul was our player of the season
