what do you all think of harry kane, can he make it at spurs ? i have my doubts about him even though he had a good time at milwall it a big step up.

surely avb aint gonna play bale as a striker once the season starts, thats crazy, keep him on the left and let him drift in at every opportunity.

it will be interesting to see who avbs team is come the start of the season. unless we get a new striker in by then, im worried. i know you cant read to much into these friendlys (in 90 degrees heat)but we seemed pretty toothless up front.

It was the same last season, creating a lot of chances but not scoring enough goals.

I'm not sure about this high line that AVB plays, it didn't work at Chelsea and I worry about it if he persists with it.

I know it's only a friendly but we need 2 top strikers and time is running out.

The problem as I see it is that Levy wants top money for the players we sell....which is fine if you get it.....but wont pay big money for the players we want. It seems that 7-10 mil is his limit and that I'm afraid wont get you much. The Damio, Llorente,Falcao etc etc are well out of our reach, so I do worry about what we will do for firepower this coming season.

Then there is Modric leaving for Real Madrid....offer accepted by Spurs today apparently....and possible replacements are to much for Levy.Moutinio was mentioned but we obviously wont pay £30 mil even though we get more than that for Modric.

I am looking forward to the season as I always do but I worry about the manager ...as I have mentioned before...and the team needs quality strikers to win anything and I don't know where they are coming from.
