Maurice Norman, our centre half when we won the double, signed from Norwich after having played just 35 games for them. He was signed to replace Alf Ramsey at right back in 1955, but then moved to the centre half position in 1957 where he remained through the greatest years in our history. There were two other players that we signed from Norwich in years gone by, but I do not remember them, anyone know there names?. How ever, there is one thing I do remember, Febuary 1959. Norwich had knocked Man United and Cardiff out of the FA Cup and we were drawn against them in the 5th round. Norwich were in the old third division and I thought it would be so easy for us to move into the sixth round and go on to win the cup. However, they held us to a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane, and that was only after Cliff Jones scored a late equaliser, but worse was to come in the replay when they beat us 0-1 with a goal scored by Terry Bly. Now my brain does not work very well these days but I do remember that name, perhaps it was because I thought at the time, blimey, we bl--dy well lost to a third division side, I was so sure we would be in the sixth round draw. Fourteen at the time, and a fourteen year lod that was gutted. Mind you, after following Spurs all these years I have lost track of how many times I have been gutted, more than all the fish in the North Sea I should think.

Ruel fox came from newcastle vis, we were robbed blind....lol he may have been a norwich player before going to the toon.

Just had a look at all past signings len and only maurice norman came from norwich, i have the signing down as you say ! 1955, we havent signed any norwich players since according to what i have just read.
