has gone very quiet on this front, no news being leaked about whether were any further forward in developing it. im going to the everton game sunday so I will have a good look and report back if any marked changes since I last went. anybody seen anything or heard anymore. it seems an awful long planning stage .

any news on the new stadium ?

I believe Levy is waiting on an investment or stadium name rights to raise the funds. I think its just funds from stopping the go ahead for the new stadium, everything else seems to have been sorted more or less.

The latest I can find is that now the supermearket and college are in use, work on the stadium starts by June with it being partially complete for 2016/17 season. presumably the plan is to then use it while completion is due for the opening of the following season.
I think that a lot now depends on the stadium naming rights and the agreement of the re-naming of WHL station.
Obviously the original plans of having it by 2014 were rather ambitious to say the least.

I was there today , looks exactly the same as when I went to the Norwich game5 months ago. nothing has moved . great result today anyway
